Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce holds 78th Annual Meeting and Garden Party

CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce held the 78th Annual Meeting and Garden Party Tuesday evening at Stone Bridge Farms.  The event was dedicated to the memory of Mrs. Jackie Moore, the Chamber’s director of administration and finance, who passed away this past year.   

Jeff Tolbert of Trident Marina, the 2021-2022 Chamber chair, noted that the possibilities are truly unlimited for our area through the cooperative efforts of our partners and all others in leadership roles in our community.

Mr. Dale Greer was awarded the Lucille Galin Public Service Award for his years of outstanding service to the Cullman area in economic development. Garry Marchman, president of the Cullman mayor and commissioner association, presented the award.

The Emma Maire Eddleman Citizenship Award was presented to Representative Randall Shedd for his commitment to restoring dignity and order to Cullman Memory Gardens after years of neglect.

The evening ended with a celebration of all the businesses large and small that make Cullman such a wonderful place to live, work, worship and play. President Peggy Smith noted the Chamber is thankful to our sponsors and all our members who attended and made the 78th annual meeting a huge success.
