CULLMAN, Ala. – With the regular season in the books, area tournaments are right around the corner for local teams. Holly Pond and West Point will host their respective area tournaments Monday while the rest of the local teams will travel.
Class 1A, Area 12 Tournament at Marion County:
May 3: (2) Meek vs (3) Hubbertville (3:30 p.m.) – winner will play Marion County at 5 p.m.
Championship: May 6 at 4:30 p.m.
Class 2A, Area 10 Tournament at Sumiton Christian:
May 4: (2) Cold Springs vs (3) Winston County (10 a.m.) – (1) Sumiton Christian vs (4) Addison (12 p.m.)
Championship: May 5 at 2 p.m.
Class 3A, Area 13 Tournament at Holly Pond:
May 3: (1) Holly Pond vs (4) J.B. Pennington (3:30 p.m.) – (2) Susan Moore vs (3) Brindlee Mountain (5:30 p.m.)
Championship: May 6 at 4:30 p.m.
Class 3A, Area 15 Tournament at Danville:
May 3: (1) Danville vs (4) Vinemont (11 a.m.) – (2) East Lawrence vs (3) Phil Campbell (1 p.m.)
Championship: May 4 at 3 p.m.
Class 4A, Area 11 Tournament at Curry:
May 5: (2) Good Hope vs (3) Hanceville (10 a.m.) – winner will play Curry at 11:30 a.m.
Championship: May 5 at 2:30 p.m.
Class 5A, Area 14 Tournament at Guntersville:
May 4: (2) Brewer vs (3) Fairview (12 p.m.) – winner will play Guntersville at 2:30 p.m.
Championship: May 6 at 3 p.m.
Class 5A, Area 15 Tournament at West Point:
May 3: (2) Lawrence County vs (3) Russellville (4 p.m.) – winner will play West Point at 6 p.m.
Championship: May 4 at 6 p.m.
Class 6A, Area 14 Tournament at Hartselle:
May 4: (1) Hartselle vs (4) Decatur (4 p.m.) – (2) Cullman vs (3) Muscle Shoals (5:30 p.m.)
Championship: May 6 at 5 p.m.
