CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman County Schools (CCBOE) has launched a new website. In addition, we have released a new CCBOE app for iPhone and Android users.
This new app and website will help parents, students and community members keep up-to-date with everything happening on campus. “We know that families are using smartphones as a primary means to communicate,” said Ty Watwood, media and communications specialist. “That’s why we’ve created an app that is custom-built for mobile and a website that is mobile friendly,” said Watwood.
On the app, you can find news from each school, cafeteria menus, sports schedules and scores, contact information for staff and event information. We are also better positioned to communicate with the community in the event of an emergency.
“We have invested in these new platforms to improve communication between our schools, the central office and our community,” said Dr. Shane Barnette, Cullman County School superintendent. “Great things happen every day in our schools, and this is one of many new ways we plan to showcase our school system,” said Barnette.
