Law enforcement officers locate vehicle involved in Monday afternoon pursuit; suspect in custody.

CULLMAN, Ala. – Early Monday evening, Cullman Police and Cullman County Sheriff’s deputies located the white Ford Expedition involved in Monday afternoon’s pursuit from Vinemont through Cullman. The vehicle was found at the Dollar General on U.S. Highway 278 near Lowery Station and St. Bernard Abbey. One suspect was taken into custody and the vehicle was impounded.
 
The CCSO released this statement Monday evening:
 
“The suspect vehicle was located and one subject has been arrested without further incident. This is an ongoing investigation. Updates will be provided as they become available.
 
“’The Cullman County Sheriff’s Office and Cullman Police Department, working together, safely brought this situation to a quick end. All the deputies and officers involved did a great job,” said Sheriff Gentry.
 
On Monday afternoon, the CCSO released this statement:
 
“Earlier today, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic dispute in the Vinemont area. Prior to deputies arrival, the suspect left in a vehicle. A vehicle pursuit ensued, but was eventually terminated for safety issues.” said Sheriff Matt Gentry.
