FLORENCE, Ala. – Cullman traveled to compete at this weekend’s Wilson Warrior Tournament in Florence and the Lady Bearcats posted 49 points to return home with a win. The boys put together a solid weekend as well, finishing just two points out of second place.
Cullman Girls (1st place)
- Kate Krigbaum/Katia Peterson defeated Lauderdale County in the finals to win the no.1 doubles championship (6-3, 7-5).
- Sophia Karolewics/Caroline Hill defeated Deshler in the finals to win the no.2 doubles championship (6-2, 6-4).
- Kate Krigbaum defeated Wilson in the finals to win the no.1 singles championship (6-0, 6-3).
- Sophia Karolewics defeated Lauderdale County in the finals to win the no.3 singles championship (6-0, 6-0).
- Caroline Hill defeated Whitesburg Christian in the finals to win the no.4 singles championship (6-0, 6-1).
Cullman Boys (3rd place)
- Jackson Murphree defeated Wilson in the finals to win the no.1 singles championship (6-4, 6-2).
- Bennett Cabri defeated Wilson in the finals to win the no.5 singles championship (6-4, 4-6, 10-5).
- Landon Evans defeated Fayette in the finals to win the no.6 singles championship (6-2, 6-0).
