Graveside services for Maylon Jerome Fields of Hanceville will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at Colony Community Cemetery in Hanceville. Reverend Horace Blount III will be officiating.

Mr. Fields was born April 10, 1956 to James Fields, Sr. and Ophelia (Minnitt) in Cullman County. He died at Cullman Regional Medical Center Jan. 11, 2021 at the age of 64.

Jerome is survived by his wife Willie Rose Fields; children Tara Hines, Tarshall (Brian) Dublin, Napoleon Jones, Ivan Fields, and LaTashia (Tyrone) Turner; nine grandchildren; mother Ophelia Fields; brothers Reverend Odis Lee (JoAnn) Minnitt, Howard Louis Fields, Reverend James C. (Yvette) Fields, and Terry Wayne Fields; sister Natalie Regina Fields; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father James Fields, Sr. and sister Geri Brank.
