PREP SWIMMING: Bearcats compete at AHSAA State Swim Meet

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – This year’s AHSAA State Swim and Dive Meet was held at the Huntsville Aquatics Center and Cullman High School had several swimmers in the field. Reese McNeel, Madison Clements, Ruby Hudson and Anna Page represented the Bearcats at this year’s State Meet. The four of them competed in the 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay as well as individual events. Cullman finished 17th at this year’s state meet, third among 6A schools, and posted three new season-best times as well as a school record in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Individually, McNeel finished 10th in the 1-meter dive, Clements placed 12th in the 200-yard individual medley and 15th in the 100-yard butterfly, and Hudson added a 12th place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke.
