Vinemont administration takes oaths

VINEMONT, Ala. – Vinemont’s Town Council gathered at the Vinemont Community Center Monday night for the swearings-in of its newly elected and re-elected members. Cullman County Probate Judge Tammy Brown administered the oaths of office, starting with newly elected Chris Thompson in Place 1, re-elected Sonya Mabry Adams in Place 2, re-elected J.D. Marcum in Place 3, re-elected Bonnie Goodwin in Place 4 and newly-elected Sonya Copeland in Place 5. Lastly, Mayor Radginal Dodson was sworn in for his new term.  

The council reappointed Kayecea Sasser as town clerk, Roy Williams as town attorney and appointed Adams mayor pro tempore.

After ratifying the use of current depositories and checking account policies, Dodson reminded all those in attendance to stay safe during the pandemic and brought the meeting to a close.

The Vinemont Town Council meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m.
