CULLMAN, Ala. – Swimming season officially got underway Tuesday night and both Cullman’s boys and girls squads collected second place finishes. Cullman finished just behind Westminster Christian Academy. The Bearcats defeated St. John Paul II and Madison County to place second. Cullman swimmers collected a number of personal records and individual honors Tuesday night.

Rudy Hudson – 2nd place 100-yard freestyle, 2nd place 200-yard freestyle, 2nd place 50-yard breaststroke (PR)
Madison Clements – 2nd place 50-yard butterfly (PR), 2nd place 50-yard backstroke, 3rd place 100-yard IM (PR)
Anna Page – 3rd place 100-yard freestyle, 3rd place 50-yard butterfly
Morgan Fuller – 3rd place 200-yard freestyle, 28.77 50-yard freestyle (PR)
Reese McNeel – 3rd place 50-yard backstroke
Peyton Arnold – 1:10.23 100-yard freestyle (PR), 42.85 50-yard breaststroke (PR)
FK Kruger – 41.99 50-yard backstroke (PR), 59.18 50-yard breaststroke (PR)

Chase Duncan – 3rd place 50-yard backstroke, 1:03.01 100-yard freestyle (PR), 26.86 50-yard freestyle (PR), 30.91 50-yard backstroke (PR)
Rhett Tysinger – 3rd place 50-yard butterfly

Cullman will host its next meet of the season at the Cullman Wellness and Aquatic Center next Tuesday night.
