BERLIN, Ala. – Four people were arrested Tuesday in Berlin when the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Special Response Team(SRT), CCSO Community Response Team (CRT) and CCSO investigators executed a search warrant at a residence along County Road 747.

A media release from the CCSO said the search warrant was executed after the CCSO received complaints from area citizens and while following up on a lead on a stolen firearm.

The four suspects were inside the residence, where deputies and investigators allegedly found the stolen pistol, 10 grams of codeine pills, methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Tiffany Bryant Wilson, 22, of Baileyton is charged with trafficking illegal drugs, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, second-degree receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Julie Kay Johnson, 22, of Hanceville is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thomas Anthony Gold, 52, of Berlin is charged with second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dillion Thomas Gold, 25, of Berlin is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

“This is another example of us getting complaints from citizens and the deputies following up as soon as possible and making arrests,” said Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry. ‘I am glad our deputies were able to arrest these four individuals and also seize these drugs and recover the stolen pistol for the rightful owner.”

Wilson’s bond was set at $500,000, Thomas Gold’s at $800, Dillon Gold’s at $300 and Johnson’s at $300.

All suspects were being held in the Cullman County Detention Center as of early Tuesday evening.
