Danny Michael Key, 68, of Addison entered into rest Friday, June 19, 2020 at his residence.
Danny was born Sept. 1, 1951 in Winston County, Alabama.
He was an amazing dad, who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved country music, playing steel guitar and shooting guns with his son. He traveled all across the country during his time as a truck driver seeing 45 states.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 1-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where the service will be held at 2 p.m. Brother E.J. Ergle will officiate. Burial will follow in Brock Cemetery in Brilliant.
Danny is survived by his sons Danny Robertson and Andrew Key and his wife Courtney; daughter Christy Hardin and her boyfriend Andrew Richter; girlfriend Patti Fields; stepdaughters Kelly Leeth and Ashley Aderholt; grandsons Clay Monfort, Bentley Aderholt, Caleb Robertson and Zach Robertson; granddaughters Shana Knott and Melia Robertson; great-granddaughter Jessie Knott; brother Terry Key; sisters-in-law Diann Key and Juanita Key; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Brenda Gail Key; parents Talmadge and Ethel Key; and brothers Kirby Key and Ronald “Foxy” Key.
