PREP TRACK & FIELD: Bearcats edge Hartselle to win Cullman Invitational

CULLMAN, Ala. – Teams from all over the area made their way to Oliver Woodard Stadium at Cullman High School Saturday to compete in this year’s Cullman Invitational and the hometown Bearcats finished just six points ahead of the Hartselle Tigers to win the boys title. Fort Payne was the winner on the girls’ side, outscoring G.W. Carver by 86 points. The Lady Bearcats placed fourth, Vinemont earned a sixth place finished and the Cold Springs Lady Eagles rounded out the top 10. In the boys division, St. Bernard posted a seventh place finish while Cold Springs placed ninth.
