VINEMONT, Ala. –- This year’s Cullman County Baseball Tournament is moving to April. The tournament was originally scheduled to begin earlier this week before it was pushed back to Friday and Saturday but with the rain continuing to fall, coaches have opted to reschedule the tournament for April 10-11 at Vinemont High School.
In the opening round of this year’s county tournament, Cold Springs will face Hanceville, Good Hope will play Vinemont and Fairview will take on Holly Pond. The West Point Warriors will meet the winner of Cold Springs and Hanceville in the semifinals as they chase a third straight county title.
Friday, April 10
Vinemont v. Good Hope – 2 p.m.
Hanceville v. Cold Springs – 4 p.m.
Fairview v. Holly Pond – 6 p.m.
Saturday, April 11
West Point v. Hanceville/Cold Springs – noon
Vinemont/Good Hope v. Fairview/Holly Pond – 2 p.m.
County Championship Game – 4 p.m.
