CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Regional’s Cullman EMS is hosting its fifth annual 9-1-1 Chili Supper & Cook-Off Saturday, Feb. 22 from 5-7 p.m. at Cullman First Baptist Church. All proceeds will benefit local nonprofit Curt’s Closet.

The cook-off competition is open to all law enforcement, firefighters, EMA, EMS personnel and dispatchers.

The chili supper is open to the public for a $5 donation per person.

Community members are encouraged to attend and vote for their favorite chili.  First, second and third place will be awarded by popular vote from the community, as well as the award for Hottest Chili. Attendees will also have a chance to win door prizes and enjoy live music.

“This event is a time where those who serve their community come together for some friendly competition,” said Cullman EMS Director James Curtis. “It’s a great way for us to be able to meet the people of the community we serve, as well as an opportunity to give back to our community.”

Cullman First Baptist Church is located at 501 Second Ave. SW. For more information or to register your team, contact Curtis at 205-903-4486 or james.curtis@cullmanregional.com.
