Cards in The Park

Cards in The Park Display (Dec. 7-31), Governor’s Park in Holly Pond


Sportsman Lake Park Winter Wonderland

5-9:30 p.m. Guests can drive through the park or park and experience the extra attractions including train rides, carriage rides and sleigh rides. Parents can take pictures of their kids with Santa or purchase a 5×7 photo in a souvenir frame for $5. The cost is $10 (cash only) per vehicle, regardless of how many people are in it.

The schedule for the Sportsman Lake Park Winter Wonderland: December- Wednesday-Sunday: 5-9:30 p.m.; Dec. 23 is the last day for Santa and the train; Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day; Dec. 26-29- Drive through only: 5-9:30 p.m.

Cullman Ghosts of Christmas Spirits Past Dickens Ghost Walk/Investigation

6-9 p.m. on spooky Friday the 13th of December. Meeting place is Bennetts Home Supply & Too YouNique located at 410 Second Ave. SW (Hwy. 31). Led by TV personality Lesley Ann Hyde, the Girls will host a fun interactive walk around historic Cullman and you’ll get to use paranormal investigation equipment if you would like to see for yourself any of the spirits of Cullman’s past! Shop before or after the tour at Bennetts/Too YouNique or other local merchants. The Girls will be taking up donations, unopened toys and new clothing for Christmas charities to give back to the community. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at http://bit.ly/2RpycYg.
