Bobby Allen Curtis born Nov. 21, 1943 in Lawrence County, Alabama to Robert Allen and Virginia Miller Curtis. He died Nov. 17, 2019 in Cullman, Alabama. He retired from the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office with 25 years as a deputy and eight years as a reserve deputy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Kenneth Curtis; and nephews Allen Curtis and Blake Landers.
He is survived by sons Jeff (Susie) and Jason (Carla) Curtis; Sherron Miller, mother of his children and partner; sister Jewel (Nathaniel) Waits; brothers Charles (Betty) Curtis, Dannie Curtis, and Dennis (Kathy) Curtis; sister-in-law Sarah Curtis; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday Nov. 21, 2019 at Ryan’s Creek Baptist Church, interment in the adjoining cemetery. Reverends Tommy Graves and Brandon Stripling officiating. Family receiving friends at the church starting at 11 a.m.
