PLEASANT GROVE, Ala. – One person was injured and a Cullman man arrested following a shooting near the Pleasant Grove community Tuesday evening.
According to a media release from the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), the incident happened at approximately 5 p.m. along County Road 1485.
The male victim, who was not identified, was shot with a handgun and transported to an area hospital.
The media release said after speaking with witnesses at the residence, deputies arrested Jeffery Aaron Filyaw, 22. He was charged with first-degree domestic violence- assault.
Filyaw is being held in the Cullman County Detention Center without bond.
