Funeral services for Joel Keith Melson, 57, of Altoona will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Jim Deason and Cody Hairston officiating.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Melson passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019 at his residence. He was born Nov. 3, 1961 to Dee Ford and Sara Melson.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Sara Melson; sons, Brian Melson and Kyler (Katie) Melson; daughter, Jessica (Tyler) Vaughn; granddaughter, Ryleigh Vaughn; and sisters, Kathy Oliver, Gaye Hamilton, and Laura Warnke.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
