VINEMONT, Ala. – An ATV accident north of Vinemont Tuesday evening along the Cullman/Morgan County line near Lacon has left one person with severe injuries, according to Cullman EMS Director James Curtis.
“We have one victim. The victim’s injuries are severe,” said Curtis.
Curtis said members of Cullman EMS, Air Evac Lifeteam, Vinemont-Providence Fire Department, the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office and Cullman Police Department all responded.
The victim was flown to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.
Earlier Tuesday evening, Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry reported that a young woman appeared on the railroad track and flagged down a train, which stopped. Gentry said the woman told the crew that someone had been involved in an ATV accident near the tracks.
