Clyde L. Glasscox, 82, of the Spoonhandle Community passed away in a Birmingham Hospital on June 29th, 2019. Preceding him in death were his son Jeff Morse; parents Speaker Walker Glasscox and T.C. Glasscox; brothers and sisters Jack Glasscox, Charles Glasscox, Woodrow Glasscox, T.C. Glasscox, Jr., Ethel Steveson, Marie Bullard, Margaret Henderson and Mable Tyler. Mr. Glasscox is survived by his loving wife Polly Glasscox of Trafford; daughter Tammy Glasscox of Oneonta; grandson Jacob Morse of New York; brothers Joe Glasscox (Carolyn) of Pine Mtn.; Paul Glasscox (Carroll) of Center Point; Carrol Glasscox (Dutchie) of Locust Fork; Bob Glasscox (Debbie) of Oneonta; Ellie Glasscox (Dana) of Shelby County, one sister Annette Phillips of New Orleans, and a host of other beloved friends and family. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 2 p.m. with Bro. Gary Youngblood, Bro. Joseph Coin, and Bro. Greg Starnes officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery at Dallas/Selfville. Pallbearers will be Derek “Huck” Camp, Jeremy Camp, Joe Laminack, Larry Wester, Payton Wester and Frankie Glasscox; honorary pallbearers will be Jake and Luke Laminack.
