Hopper’s celebrating anniversary with ribeye sandwich sale to benefit children

FAIRVIEW, Ala. – Hopper’s Family Market and Pharmacy in Fairview is celebrating its eighth anniversary this week, planning a huge two-day sale April 12-13. Owners Mike and Jimmie Hopper are also excited to bring back their ribeye steak sandwich sale to benefit the Children’s of Alabama. 

The celebration will begin Friday, April 12 with free hotdogs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. On Saturday, April 13 guests can get ribeye steak sandwiches for $7 with all proceeds benefiting Children’s of Alabama in Huntsville. The sandwiches will be sold from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Hoppers have a passion for helping children. The store supports the schools in Fairview and Baileyton. The Hoppers say they are all about the community.

Mike Hopper has worked in grocery store most of his life. His family owned a grocery store in Eva. 

About the Hoppers making the decision to open their store in Fairview, Mike Hopper said, “I wanted to bring part of the city to the country.”

The family pledged to provide great job opportunities to local residents close to their homes and schools. 

Hopper’s, located at 7467 Alabama Highway 69 N, offers meats and produce, fresh seafood, a full pharmacy, household goods and frequently needed hardware items. The market also carries a full line of Melissa and Doug puzzles, games and play sets for children.
