Funeral services for Mildred Evelyn Thompson Turner, 91, of Vinemont will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Chapel, with interment in Cullman Memory Gardens.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Turner passed away Friday evening, March 29, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 4, 1928 to parents Thomas Joseph and Elsie Lee Eddy Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marion F. Turner; three sisters, Hilda Campbell, Faye Bell, Bernice Woods; and two brothers, Art Thompson and Kent Thompson.
Survivors include her son, Greg Turner; daughter, Glenis (Darrell) Campbell; grandchildren, Cindy (Mike) Steele, Jennifer (Zach) Higgins, Chase Turner, Nathan (April) Trull, Nick Trull; great-grandchildren, Tyler (Kristen) Finley, Gracie Higgins, Addyson Higgins; great-great-grandchildren, Shelton Finley, Jammie Finley, Katarina Oropeza; three sisters, Stella Freeman, Elvie Freeman, Marie (Mark) Saint; two brothers, Curtis (Ann) Thompson, Brent (Mary) Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the funeral home.
