CULLMAN – A motion was made to recommend the rezoning, but it did not receive a second, so the motion died. According to City Attorney Roy Williams, the Cullman City Council could still consider the rezoning, but without a planning commission recommendation. Look for a full story later tonight.

At tonight's meeting of the City of Cullman Municipal Government Planning Commission, 41 people showed up for a public hearing on a rezoning request for Main Ave. SW & Morningside Drive SW- R-2 to R-4/B-1. All 41 raised their hands when asked who came to oppose the rezoning.
