Funeral service for Mr. Donavon Dewayne Roper, age 68 of Maylene, will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home; burial at Ebenezer Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Roper passed away on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. He was born, June 11, 1950 in Cullman, AL to Raymond and Eunice Oakley Roper.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Billy Roper, stepson; Gene Crosby.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Donna Parker; daughter, Melissa Roper; grandsons, Jaydon (Salena) Hood and Keyan Lane; great grandchildren, Byron Hood and Rylee Hood; stepsons, Darryl Crosby and Jeremy Crosby.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
