Vicki Lynn Maddux Childers, 59, of Holly Pond, passed away on Jan. 26, 2019. She was born April 10, 1959, to James Sr. and Margaret Callahan Maddux.
Ms. Childers was a loving person. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. Her passing brings sorrow to many.
Vicki is preceded in death by her parents; a son Rick Childers, Jr.; and her brother, Michael Maddux.
Survivors include, sons, Travis (Amy) Childers, Rusty (Misti) Childers, Scotty Childers; brothers, John Maddux, James Jr. (Robin) Maddux; sister, Ella Jane Maddux; grandchildren, Ashleigh, Madison, and Isabella Childers, Natalie Hagel, Ty Corley, Adam Pearson; great-grandchildren, Phoenix Corley, Jaden Corley; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friend, David Helton.
A memorial service for Vicki will be held on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior to services; from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. Services will begin at 6 p.m. in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel.
