Funeral Service for Asa C. Hartwig, age 79, of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Christopher Clark officiating; interment in Cullman City Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hartwig passed away on Jan. 22, 2019. He was born Jan. 17, 1940, to Minnie and George T. Hartwig, Sr.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Hartwig; and sister, Henrietta Hartwig.
Survivors include his wife, Frances C. Hartwig; daughters, Betsy (Eric) Wakeman, Amy (Ben) Snipes, and Elizabeth "Scottie" (Randy) Thomas; sons, Bryan (Michelle) Cain and Greg (Cindy) Cain; brother, George T. (Sharon) Hartwig, Jr.; grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah Wakeman, Abigail and Eli Haley, Christopher Cain, Amanda Robinson, Grace Williams, Hope Cain; great-grandsons, Wilder and Sawyer Cain; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
