HUNTSVILLE – The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) advises motorists to expect two lane closures Wednesday, Jan. 16, on Interstate 65 in Morgan County.
The northbound outside lane and shoulder near mile marker 331 (near Fredricks Outdoor), south of Exit 334 (Alabama 67 in Priceville) will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for installation of a pole.
The southbound outside lane and shoulder near mile marker 320, between Exit 322 (County Road 55 in Falkville) and Exit 318 (U.S. 31 at Lacon) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail repair.
Motorists may wish to use alternate routes, such as U.S. 31, to avoid delays. Those traveling I-65 are advised plan additional travel time. Please reduce speed and be prepared to merge when approaching a work zone.
