CULLMAN – A Warrior man was arrested last week after an incident on Interstate 65 South on Christmas Day in Cullman County.

According to the Cullman County Sheriff's Office (CCSO), Anthony O'Neal Burrow, 27, "observed the victim, whom he knew, traveling south on I-65. The victim had just left a friend’s house on Christmas Day and got onto I-65 south when she noticed the suspect's car beside her and heard a gunshot. She pulled over on the side of the road when the suspect also pulled over and began to damage her car. The suspect also made entry into the vehicle and assaulted the victim."

A spokesman for the CCSO said Burrow was not at the scene when authorities arrived. He was arrested on Dec. 27 and charged with first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree domestic violence and shooting into an occupied automobile or building.

Burrow has since made bond.
