2 charged with selling drugs in separate cases

CULLMAN – Cullman Police recently arrested two men on drug charges in separate cases.

On Oct. 9, the department’s Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) arrested Oliver Samuel Tucker, 22, of Crane Hill. Tucker is charged with three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance for allegedly selling methamphetamine.

Tucker was booked into the Cullman County Detention Center and has since been released.  

On the same day, officers with the CSU, along with officers assigned to the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force, arrested James Edward Doss, 73, of Cullman for trafficking in illegal drugs and two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance for allegedly selling hydrocodone pills.

Doss, who was on probation at the time of his arrest, was booked into the Cullman County Detention Center, where he remains incarcerated.
