Good Samaritan Health Clinic enrolling uninsured patients in Colony this Saturday

COLONY – On Saturday, Jan. 13, representatives from the Good Samaritan Health Clinic will be at Colony Town Hall from 10 a.m. until noon to sign up eligible non-insured county residents for its services. 

Certain requirements must be met to qualify.  From the Good Samaritan website:

“If you are a resident of Cullman County without any health insurance coverage, meet certain income requirements, and are between the ages of 19 and 65 you may be eligible to receive health care services through Good Samaritan Health Clinic.  To become a patient of Good Samaritan Health Clinic, you must be a resident of Cullman County, have two forms of identification, and provide proof of all household income. You must not be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans’ or private insurance.  All applicants must provide a Medicaid denial letter.”

Applicants will need to bring documentation.  

Sample applications are available at Colony Town Hall, Tom Bevill Library, the Colony Senior Citizen Center and from Colony Mayor Donnis Leeth.  A notary public will be available at no charge to the applicants.
