FAIRVIEW – An Albertville woman was killed in a two-car crash in Cullman County on Sunday. The wreck happened in the 500 block of Wesley Avenue in the community of Fairview.

Imelda Morales, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene, said Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick.

According to Alabama State Troopers, Morales was a passenger in a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse, which collided with a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro at approximately 12:13 p.m.

The driver of the Eclipse, a Hispanic male who has not been identified, was injured and transported to Huntsville Hospital. Troopers said the unidentified male is the at-fault driver.

The driver of the Camaro, a female from Cullman County, was also injured and taken to the hospital. Troopers declined to identify her Monday, saying the department does not release the names of not-at-fault drivers involved in fatal incidents; however, multiple sources have confirmed to The Tribune that the woman's name is Kimberly Maples Mullican, 45, of Fairview. Mullican is the librarian at Fairview Middle School.

Nothing further is available at this time.
