David Grissom, right, of Cullman recently received a Wounded Warrior Coin and certificate from local Sons of the American Revolution President Ken Brown.

Grissom served in Vietnam as a U.S. Army Ranger. His unit was assigned to the U.S. 9th Infantry Division. He received a Purple Heart for wounds suffered in action with the enemy.

The SAR salutes Grissom and all our Cullman County veterans on Veterans Day, 2017.
