Cullman Christian School is proud to announce the hiring of Dr. Wayne Williams as principal.

"I have worked for over 25 years in education, but my greatest passion has always been to work in Christian education," said Williams.

Williams began his elementary teaching career in the Huntsville City Schools system. He has degrees from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (B.S.), Alabama A&M (M.A.), the University of Alabama at Birmingham (Ed.S.) and ultimately Samford University (Ed.D.). He was the principal of Helena Intermediate School for 12 years.

The Cullman Christian School board feels Williams has the perfect mix of enthusiasm, academic qualifications and experience to lead CCS to the next level. Most importantly, he plans to do so while keeping Christ foremost in everything we do.

"I feel a call on my life to work to make a difference in the lives of students through such a position," he said.

CCS Interim Principal Cheryl Parker and the faculty are looking forward to working with Dr. Williams in the upcoming school year!
