CULLMAN COUNTY – Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) northwest sub-regional play began tonight, with the qualifying girls' teams. Boys' sub-regional games are tomorrow night at 7 p.m.

NORTHWEST REGIONAL GIRLS' SCHEDULE:
- Cold Springs vs. Red Bay/Mars Hill winner Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m.
- Good Hope vs. West Limestone/Wilson winner Saturday, Feb. 18 at 9 a.m.
- Fairview vs. Lee/Lawrence Co winner Monday, Feb. 20 at noon
The Northwest Regional begins at Wallace State's Tom Drake Coliseum on Thursday.
