State of the State luncheon set for this Friday; Bussman, Shedd, Harbison and Henry to speak

CULLMAN – On Friday, Jan. 20, the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 2017 State of the State Community Luncheon.

Cullman's legislative delegation will give an overview of what's happening in Montgomery. Speakers will include Sen. Paul Bussman, R-Cullman; Rep. Randall Shedd, R-Fairview; Rep. Corey Harbison, R-Good Hope and Rep. Ed Henry, R-Hartselle.

The luncheon is open to the public; however, reservations are required. The luncheon will be at the All Steak Restaurant in Cullman from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Admission is $15 for chamber members and $20 for others.

U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt, R-Alabama, will be in Cullman on Wednesday, Jan. 18. The Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce’s governmental affairs committee is hosting Aderholt for an update from Washington, D.C. The forum is free and open to the public.

The event will be held from 8-9 a.m. in the Wal-Mart Distribution Center Room at the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce. Seating will be limited, with priority seating for chamber members. A continental breakfast will be provided.
