Baldwin man arrested for trafficking

BALDWIN – Cullman City Police Narcotics Investigators Chris Thomason and Justin Craft, along with Capt. Becky Boyd, on Tuesday arrested James Gorden Adams, Jr., 63, of Baldwin for one count of trafficking in illegal drugs and four counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

Prior to the arrest, investigators conducted several controlled buys from Adams, in which he allegedly sold officers hydrocodone, alprazolam, oxycodone and methamphetamine.

The arrest was made on County Road 1151 in the Baldwin community. 

At the time of his arrest, Adams was on probation for previous drug charges.

Adams is currently being held at the Cullman County Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
