CULLMAN – Phyllis Little, director of the Cullman Emergency Management Agency, is on the team of people at Rock the South monitoring the weather and has a say in the decisions on how to handle emergency situations at the festival.

“Right now, it is looking like we will have a chance of showers coming up, but other than that, nothing serious is on the radar,” Little said. “But we are keeping our eyes open for if and when anything comes up.”

Little said the two things that will cause the EMA to act are intense lightning over the festival area and/or high intensity wind, which the Rock the South stage is not built to withstand.
