Controlled buy leads to 4 trafficking arrests

VINEMONT –  On Thursday, May 19, Cullman Police Department investigators, with assistance from the Cullman County Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), made a controlled buy of 2 ounces of methamphetamine from a residence located on County Road 1129 Vinemont.

A search warrant was then executed on the residence by CPD and CNET.  During the search of the residence, investigators recovered more than an ounce of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and close to $4,000 in cash.

Four suspects were arrested at the time the search warrant was executed. 

Randy Heath Collins, 34, of West Point was charged with two counts of trafficking in illegal drugs (methamphetamine) along with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. 

Colin Shane Scott, 42, of Waterloo, Alabama was charged with two counts of trafficking in illegal drugs (methamphetamine).

Natalie Marie Evans Pitt, 32, of West Point and William Marcus Webb, 29, of Florence, Alabama were each charged with one count of trafficking in illegal drugs (methamphetamine). 

All four suspects are currently being held at the Cullman County Detention Center. Collins is being held on a $2.02 million bond, Scott on a $2 million bond, Pitt on a $1 million bond and Webb on a $1 million bond.

The investigation leading to the arrests began a month ago by Cullman Police Department narcotics investigators.
