GOLD RIDGE – During the past week, Cullman County Sheriff's Office deputies and investigators arrested Zachary Chad Arnold, 26, of Cullman and Christopher Adam Hann, 26, of Cullman for five counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and one count of fourth-degree theft of property.

On April 24, the victims called the CCSO after returning to their home in the Gold Ridge community to discover that multiple vehicles they own had been broken into and several items from those vehicles had been stolen. CCSO investigators learned that the victims' neighbors, suspects Arnold and Hann, were seen with some of the victims' property. CCSO investigators then made contact with the suspects at their residence.

The suspects admitted to CCSO investigators that they had consumed a large amount of drugs and also broken into the victims' vehicles. Investigators obtained a search warrant and located much of the stolen property inside the suspects' residence.

“The deputies and investigators did a great job locating and arresting the suspects in a short amount of time and also recovering the property for the victims that they had stolen,” said Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry.

Arnold is being held in the Cullman County Detention Center on a $78,000 cash bond. Hann is being held in the Cullman County Detention Center on a $82,000 cash bond.
