HANCEVILLE – On Saturday, March 14 at 7 p.m., Ben Johnson South’s new play, “Yours Eternally: Letters of a Lifetime” will premiere. The play will star former Alabama First Lady Marsha Folsom and her son James Folsom III. The play will be at the Wallace State Burrow Center. Tickets are $10 at the door and will benefit the Wallace State Future Foundation.

“The scenario is a playful and meaningful exchange between a nurturing mother and child over a lifetime,” said South. “I attempted to have the humanity of the characters on stage connect with the humanity of the audience. ‘Yours Eternally’ deals with the elements of life most of us experience: love/loss/struggle/nurturing/family divorce/death/triumph/joy.”

“Marsha Folsom, who is a childhood friend of mine, and her son, James III, are going to be perfect in the premiere of this play,” South continued. “They are thoughtful, dynamic, delightful individuals and together they are, as Marsha's mother-in-law, Miz Jamelle, would say, ‘My sunshine.’ I hope they will want to perform this play in Birmingham, Montgomery and maybe in New Orleans where James is in law school at Loyola.”
