Saint Bernard Prep School is pleased to announce that senior Dominic Pautler has received the CRESCANT Scholarship at Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina.

The CRESCANT Scholarship is given every four years and is highly competitive, based on a student’s resume, including athletic accomplishments. Valued at $123,176, this scholarship covers tuition, room and board, books and a $4,000 allowance to study abroad.

At Belmont, Pautler plans to participate in track and field, specializing in pole vault and javelin. He also plans to participate in the decathlon. He currently holds the Alabama State 1A record for pole vault.

Paulter is the son of Bill and Betsy Pautler, of Birmingham.

Seated with Pautler are his mom, Betsy Pautler and Coach William Calvert. Standing left to right are Deacon Tim Vaughn, Father Joel Martin, president Saint Bernard Prep; Brother Paschal Pautler and Coach Stephen Calvert.
