CULLMAN, Ala. – The verdict is in, and this little Chihuahua was found guilty…of being too cute.

Ditzy, owned by Caitlin Mattox of Hanceville, has been named the winner of Cullman Today’s Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest, presented by First National Bank of Cullman.

Dressed in a black-and-white striped jailbird costume, complete with a matching cap and a “GUILTY” label, Ditzy posed behind the bars of a pink crate for the winning photo. The look won over the Cullman Today team from a field of creative entries.

As the winner, Ditzy will take home a mystery pet-friendly swag bag from First National Bank of Cullman.

Pet owners across the area sent in photos of their costumed companions throughout the month. The contest was open to all fur babies.

Cullman Today thanks First National Bank of Cullman, the contest’s title sponsor, and everyone who shared their pets’ costumes.

A full gallery of every entry will be posted on Cullman Today’s Facebook page Saturday, Oct. 31, so readers can see all of the costumes.
