Funeral Service for Betty Kilgo Smith, age 82 of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with John (Appleseed) McKoy and Shane Rusk officiating; burial at Etha Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at her residence. She was born July 29, 1943, to Woodrow Kilgo and Gracie Brown Kilgo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Smith; sons, Terry Smith and Tommy (T-Tom) Smith; daughter, Tracie Corbitt and her siblings, Dean Davis, Opal Clements, Jean Morris, Marie Glover, Martha Leipert, Oather Kilgo and Jack Kilgo.
Survivors include her daughters, Michelle Rusk (Doyle) and Lisa Cox (Allen); sons, Mike (Carol) Smith and Rodger Cofer (LeAnna); daughter-in-law, Valerie Smith; son-in-law Stanley Corbitt; grandchildren, Tristan Cox (Nikki), Shane Rusk (Jasmine), Kristi Moore (Trent), Terry Smith (Kristen), Skyler Cox (Kaylin), Amanda Blackwell (Tyler), Alysha Taylor (Tim), Lora Bell (Shawn), Faith Cofer, Adam Cofer (Paige), Gary Smith (Hope), Samuel Corbitt, Trystan Vardaman; 21 great Grands; sisters, Carolyn McKoy (John), Francis Craddock (Jerry),Sister-in-laws, Joan Dunn (Donald), Mary Ruth Smith and Ruby Smith; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, family and friends.
