CULLMAN, Ala. – Aesthetics on 1st celebrated its official ribbon-cutting on Tuesday, Feb. 3, in Cullman’s Warehouse District, marking a milestone for the physician-owned medical aesthetics practice, which opened its doors in November 2025.

The business is located next to Karma’s Coffee House and is co-owned by Dr. Morgan Martin, a board-certified plastic surgeon. It is part of Cullman’s Seidel + Martin Plastic Surgery.

“This is really the culmination of everything we’ve been working toward for a long time. A med spa doesn’t just mean a med spa to us. We go above and beyond what people typically think of because we’re owned and operated by physicians,” said Martin.

Martin said Aesthetics on 1st differs from traditional med spas by offering advanced, physician-led treatments and specialized technology not commonly available in the area, including the CO2 Tetra laser, a highly specialized resurfacing device.

“We’re able to do higher-level medical treatments,” she said. “We also have very in-depth laser options that give different results than what you’d see elsewhere.”

The practice offers a wide range of services, including laser hair removal, solutions for pigment and vascular concerns, customized facials, Skinwave and Hydrafacial services, microneedling, Botox and fillers, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and other hair restoration treatments, hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss programs, peptide therapies and an IV infusion lounge.

Martin said the ability to combine multiple treatment modalities allows for highly customized care plans.

Another benefit, she added, is accessibility. “This makes it much easier for someone to come in as a cosmetic patient, have a consultation and explore options without feeling intimidated,” she said.

A public grand opening event is set for Thursday, Feb. 5, from 5-8 p.m. It will be a 1970s-themed celebration with music, food provided by Jubilee Kitchen +  Bar and multiple giveaways. Attendees can receive raffle tickets by visiting stations throughout the facility, with prizes donated by local businesses in the Warehouse District. Those who spend $100 or more will also receive a “golden ticket” for a chance to win larger prizes, including aesthetic treatments and service packages. Additional specials will be available during the grand opening, and the business will also offer a Valentine’s Day promotion that includes bonus gift card incentives.

Martin emphasized that the practice aims to provide a welcoming, approachable environment for patients. “We’re very down to earth,” she said. “You’re not going to feel blown off or uncomfortable asking questions. That’s just who we are.”
