CULLMAN, Ala. – Meet Sylvia, an approximately 3-month-old domestic shorthair tuxedo kitten with personality-plus. She’s The Cullman Tribune Pet of the Week.
Around the shelter, she is known as the court jester, always ready to entertain, explore and bring a little laughter into the room.
Do not let her playful side fool you, though. Sylvia is also a true cuddlebug. She melts in your arms, loves being held and has the sweet, gentle nature of a kitten made for companionship.
Sylvia has many kitty friends and enjoys spending time with them, but her favorite toy remains the cat tower. She is smart, curious and blessed with an inquisitive mind that keeps her busy learning, climbing and investigating the world around her.
With her loving personality and affectionate spirit, Sylvia is, hands down, the quintessential therapy/companion kitty.
Her adoption fee is $100, which includes spay, rabies shot, microchip, vaccinations and dewormer.
Visit the Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE. It’s open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Contact the Cullman County Animal Shelter at 256-734-5448 or cullmananimalshelter@co.cullman.al.us.
Please feel free to stop by the shelter to meet Sylvia; however, if she has already been adopted, she encourages everyone to visit with the other pets waiting for their forever homes.
