Obituary: Kenneth Wade Haynes

Kenneth Wade Haynes, 80, of Cullman, Alabama, was born January 26, 1946, in Alabama, and died May 7, 2026. A man marked by steadfast devotion and quiet resilience, Kenneth met life with a steady strength that carried him through both ordinary days and hard seasons alike. 

Kenneth worked as a truck driver, a role that reflected his dependable spirit and willingness to shoulder responsibility day after day. In work and in life, he was known for staying the course—showing up, pressing on, and caring deeply for those he loved. 

Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Tammy (Spencer) Faulkner and Angelia (Todd) Barry; his sisters, Jean (Buck) Hudson and Jeanette Swann; 8 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces and Nephews. A special thanks to Amy Needham. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Marjorie Haynes; his wife, Susan Taylor Haynes; his son, Tim Haynes; and his siblings, Barbara Steele, James Haynes, and Joyce Posey. 

Visitation will be held at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Ave North West, Cullman, AL 350555827, on May 12, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Temple Baptist Church, 30 Co Rd 1184, Cullman, AL 35057, on May 13, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

A Committal Service will follow at Good Hope Baptist Cemetery, 2708 CR 437, Cullman, AL 35057, on May 13, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.
