Ruth Keese Tuck, 85, of Cullman passed away April 28, 2026, at her home. Born at her family home on Indian Creek in the Simcoe community, May 14th, 1940, Ruth’s roots ran deep in the land she loved. Remarkably, she spent her entire life within five miles of her homestead.
An avid gardener, Ruth found joy and peace among her flowers, especially her beloved roses. She especially loved the Peace rose and the Peace and Love rose. She delighted in the simple pleasures like feeding and watching hummingbirds. Ruth spent much of her time reading and studying the Bible. She was also a passionate genealogist for over 30 years, preserving family history.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Winford Keese and Agnes Marie McIntosh Keese.
Survivors include her son, Bobby Tuck (Jana); daughter, Becky Kanaday (James); Joy Tuck; adopted daughters, Enrica Bonelli, Nia Thurber; sister, Rhea Richards; grandchildren, River Tuck, Lochlan Tuck, Anna Grace Tuck, Katie Tuck; adopted granddaughters, Ivy & Emma Link; family and friends.
