Funeral service for Shelby Ann Barker, 65, will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 30th, 2026, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Fairview West Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-2 p.m.

Mrs. Barker passed away Sunday, April 26th, 2026 at CRMC. She was born December 6, 1960 to William Riley Day and Bertie Mae Waldrop Day. Shelby loved all animals, gardening, yard sales and thrift stores. She loved her Mountain Dew drinks. Her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were loved and were her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Edward, Donald, and John Day.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Barker; son, Wesley Cason (Jennifer); daughter, Misty Quick (Michael); brothers, James Day (Wanda), Allen Day (Sue); sisters, Judy Freeman, Annette Stapler, Vickie Quick (Jeff); grandchildren, Demi Bishop (Jonathan), Austin Cason, Tony Cason, Joey Cason (Kaley), Shane Goodno, Desiree Goodno, Bradlee Quick (Haley); great-grandchildren, Jada, Haven, Rosealee, Kyde, Nyla, Kipp, Zee, Coleden, Alainie, Anthony, Melony, Serenity, Hunter, Makayleigh; family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan, Michael, Joey, Tony, Bradlee, Austin.
