CULLMAN, Ala. – The City of Cullman Zoning Board of Adjustments & Appeals at its April 21 meeting approved an expansion for Auto Zone.
Auto Zone, located at 210 Second Ave. NW, will expand from 9,000 square feet to 16,000 square feet. The board said the expansion will improve the location for customers as well as neighboring businesses. It will allow better traffic flow for part shipments by giving delivery trucks more room so as to not disrupt surrounding roadways.
A request by St. John & Associates, Inc. on behalf of Davidson Homes, LLC was made for a lot width variance at Loring Street Northwest and Cleveland Avenue Northwest, reducing the width of 5A from 100 feet to 90 feet. The request was approved.
The next Zoning Board meeting will take place at the city hall auditorium on Tuesday, May 19, at 5:30 p.m.
