CULLMAN, Ala. – Che Sollievo Spa & Salon opened its doors on Sunday, April 12, in downtown Cullman.
Co-owner Amy Benson said the name “Che Sollievo” is inspired by the Italian phrase for “what a relief,” reflecting the experience the team hopes to create for guests.
“We want people to come here and, when they leave, feel like, ‘Oh, what a relief,’” Benson said.
The spa and salon offers a variety of services, including hair, nails and facials, along with retail products and a salt room. Planned additions include Japanese head spa service, red light therapy and spray tanning. Benson said the goal is to create a one-stop shop where clients can access a wide range of beauty and wellness services in one place.
Guests who attended the grand opening Sunday shared positive feedback, describing the space as inviting and luxurious, with many expressing excitement to try the services.
Looking ahead, Che Sollievo plans to continue expanding its offerings with a stronger focus on health and wellness.
“We just want to be able to serve the community and continue growing into more of a wellness-focused spa,” Benson said.
